A bio on Sauerbraten

Sauerbraten is a freeware FPS action game that runs on Windows, Mac, and Linux. The game features single-player and multiplayer gameplay and contains an in-game level editor, its main feature. The game engine is free and open source software, under the zlib License, with commercial support available from the developer's own business counterpart, Dot3 Labs. Sauerbraten's simplicity either annoys you, or appeals to you as soon as you start it. For example, You cannot look down the sights of your gun, there is no fall damage, there is no reloading (If you have 60 bullets for the chaingun e.g., you can keep firing until you are out of ammo), and other than with the shotgun and the chaingun, wherever your crosshairs are is where the bullet hits.
